RMS Micro Controlled Rebar Benders are used and acclaimed by Rebar fabricators worldwide.

For several decades, RMS has provided high quality production equipment to the Rebar fabricating industry. Today, RMS (formerly Arnold) equipment is at work in shops of all sizes, in virtually every corner of the globe. In many cases, the equipment may be 10, 15, or even 20 years old, yet still producing day in and day out.

RMS has built its reputation on years of experience in both Rebar fabrication techniques and machinery design and construction. RMS has always strived to offer its customers the best equipment, coupled with prompt and efficient service and support.

RMS offers three models of benders to meet any bending need:
The model #11, with a capacity of up to #11 bar (35 mm), is an excellent light bender. It is powered by a 5 H.P. motor and controlled by 7 ½ H.P. motor inverter that adds additional capacity and versatility to the machine.

The models #14 and #18 are each powered by a 10 H.P. motor and a four speed transmission. Both benders are capable of bending ties and stirrups, as well as all general bending up through #14 bar (45mm) and #18 bar (55 mm), respectively.

RMS model #11 Bender is ideal for all light bending and will bend up through #11 Rebar. Attachments available include #18 bar (55mm) bending roll, for the model #18 Bender.

Rebar Bender Features:

RMS benders are noted for their rugged construction and low maintenance requirements. Each machine is built of heavy welded steel members and reinforced at all stress points. Parts and components are name brand and available in most locations, as well as from the RMS factory. Even the smallest model (#11) weighs more than most conventional machines of similar capacity.

A unique inverter drive system, standard on the model #11, is available as an option on the models #14 and #18. This system greatly reduces wear and tear on the motors and brakes, while enhancing bending versatility, such as variable speed selection, etc.

Specialized attachments are available for bending radius bars, small truss bars and small ties and stirrups.

The Bender is easy to operate and can be mastered within a short period of time. All machines include several built-in safety features, such as foot pedal operation, emergency stop switches and on-screen alerts, in the event of a power failure or malfunction.

All models are designed to bend ties, stirrups, trusses, offsets, as well as all general bending, accurately and efficiently. Many users have realized a notable increase in productivity, as compared with conventional table top benders.

Bender can be quickly set up to bend all bar sizes., Changeover time, from light to heavy bending, can take less than one minute.

Multiple bending stations can be programmed to bend "forward" or "reverse". This feature allows many bars such as closed ties or truss bars to be bent without having to manually turn bars over.

The RMS Micro Bender Controller utilizes state-of-the-art computer technology to provide unmatched performance and versatility!

Changes in the construction and rebar industries are ongoing. RMS has always led the way in technological advances. The RMS Micro Bender Control is no exception. Some of its unique features include:

Eight bending stations, as compared to six on most conventional controls. The additional bending stations enable the operator to quickly and easily setup virtually any bend type. In addition, any bending station can be programmed to "repeat" up to 9 times for added versatility. Each station can be programmed to bend in a forward or reverse direction.

Enhanced bend shape memory capacity enables the operator to store close to 300 different bend shapes, for instant recall.

A large and bright LCD screen is clearly visible in virtually any shop condition.

On-screen information helps insure accurate bending, including total piece count, station by station bending direction and angle. Even the suggested "bend deduct" is displayed to assist the operator in setting up a bend, more accurately.

Many safety features have been implemented into this control, including lighted fwd/rvs and station pushbuttons, that signal to the operator what function the machine will perform when the foot pedal is pressed.

Angle setups can be quickly determined and stored for each particular bar size and shape. Trial and error setups and scrap are virtually eliminated, regardless of the bender operator's experience.

A separate menu displays complete setup data for each bar size, including suggested pin and roll diameters, drive pin location, and more.

Keypad is rugged and easy to use. Each key is a heavy duty, standard component that is durable and easy to replace in the field.

On machines utilizing a motor inverter, operator may select different speeds for any station or for the same station (e.g. a slow bending speed and a faster return speed).

Fully compatible with all Arnold/DMI type benders.

Quickly converts from imperial to metric setup, or vice versa.
